4th International Multibody Dynamics Workshop & Summer School

The 4th International Multibody Dynamics Workshop & Summer School, jointly organized by Politecnico di Milano and the University of Parma, will be held on September 12-16 2022.

This year the event will be 100% in presence, and it will be held at the Bovisa Campus of Politecnico di Milano, via La Masa 34, 20156, Milan, Italy.

The invitation is open to Ph.D. students, postdocs, and researchers interested in multibody dynamics.

The deadline for the pre-registration is July 10th, 2022.

Nowadays the methods of multibody system dynamics represent a widespread, versatile and reliable approach to the simulation of engineering problems that involve the dynamics of complex mechanisms.

Applications of these methods can be found in many fields, for instance in aerospace, automotive, biomechanics, robotics, and automation, to name a few.

Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds: other students, researchers, professionals from industries, and faculty staff. The official language of the School is English. A certificate of attendance will be provided to enrolled students.

Workload: about 35 hours of lectures and laboratories, including hands-on, for a total of 5 ECTS.

This course is part of the syllabus of the Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering Ph.D. programs at Politecnico di Milano.
