BIO
Pietro Aceti holds his Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Energy Engineering both from Politecnico di Milano. Part of his study has been carried out abroad: in Hong Kong and in Saint Petersburg. His PhD started in February 2021 and it is supported by Industrial partners. The main research interests are: Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) specifically for aeronautical component subjected to hygrothermal loads, smart materials for high flexible space structures. He also conducts astronomical research using photometric and astrometric technique.
