Gabriella Gaias, (MEng-2005, PhD-2009), is an Experienced Researcher recipient of the EU Horizon2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship ReMoVE (Rendezvous Modelling Visiting and Enhancing). Previously, she has been part of the ERC H2020 COMPASS project (2018-2019). Before joining PoliMi, Gabriella Gaias has been working since 2009 as Research Engineer at the German Space Operations Center (GSOC) of the DLR (German Aerospace Center), where she has been involved and provided key contributions to two formation-flying missions flown in that period (PI of AVANTI, GNC engineer of PRISMA).
Her research/work interests comprise: development of AOCS/GNC algorithms, simulation systems, and flight software for formation-flying and proximity operations applications.
